Workplace Investigations are becoming
increasingly complex and external independent investigators
are now frequently engaged to conduct these. This is
particularly so when the allegations involve bullying,
sexual harassment and/or discrimination.
Penny is an experienced independent
workplace investigator who is an active member of the
Australian Association of Workplace Investigators. As
a senior employment law practitioner she utilises her
experience to ensure an effective and transparent process
and fully reasoned findings that can withstand legal
scrutiny.
Penny is also able to offer employers
faced with a complaint, initial advice as to whether
an investigation is necessary, whether this should be
internal or external or whether other potential alternatives
such as facilitation are appropriate. In this situation
referrals to appropriate facilitators or investigators
can also be provided.
